Istanbul Agop has been making high quality cymbals since 1980 when their founder Agop Tomuruck partnered with Mehmet Tamdeğer. Agop Tomuruck had been a cymbal-smith since the age of 9 which gave him a lot of time to perfect and refine his craft. Istanbul Agop produce top of the range cymbals and this is demonstrated in the Special Edition Jazz Ride.

This beautiful cymbal produces a dry sound with great stick definition. Its dark, washy tones make this cymbal incredibly desirable.
